Physical Disabilities

Humanity & Inclusion is aware from personal experience that an artificial limb alone cannot transform an amputee’s life. Our rehabilitation strategy is built on the understanding of individual needs, taking into account a person’s unique circumstances, their environment, and the nearby services offered.

Physical rehabilitation is the first step toward regaining independence for those who have been hurt in conflicts or from natural disasters, who have congenital disabilities like club feet, or who suffer from incapacitating illnesses like polio.

Long term sustainability

For many people who have been injured or fitted with an artificial limb or a walking aid, this process starts with relearning the movements necessary for day-to-day activities. On the arduous road to recovery, medical professionals like physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and others play a crucial role.

Humanity & Inclusion collaborates closely with regional health & rehabilitation stakeholders to make sure the rehabilitation projects we work on are long-term self-sufficient.
